Job Description
Note: This posting covers two roles: Principal Engineer and Distinguished Engineer. Albert is hiring Distinguished Engineer to help build net-new consumer products from zero. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of 0 to 1 consumer products, hands-on prototyping, owning architecture, and shipping high-quality code. We prioritize craft, practical implementation, and direct ownership with small senior-heavy teams and minimal bureaucracy. Remote role with timezone overlap; exceptional candidates may work async. Stack includes Python, Claude, PostgreSQL, React/React Native. Compensation up to $750,000 cash plus meaningful equity; benefits include 401(k) match and Platinum PPO health coverage.
