Senior Backend Engineer
About Lokker
Lokker is a privacy platform that helps organizations understand and control what is happening across public-facing infrastructure: websites, browser-side applications, scripts, pixels, cookies, tags, forms, SDK/API calls, and browser-side data flows.
Job Description
Lokker is hiring a senior backend engineer to own and scale scanning infrastructure for high-volume website scanning, browser automation, distributed scanning, networking, reliability, performance, and cost optimization. Key requirement: substantial hands-on production experience with browser automation, headless browsers, crawlers, scanners, synthetic monitoring, scraping infrastructure, or closely related technologies. This is not a general backend role; we can only consider candidates who have already built, operated, or scaled systems in this domain. Other relevant experience includes distributed systems, queues/orchestration, high-scale backend services, HTTP/TLS/DNS, proxies, CDNs, WAFs, bot detection, and fingerprinting. Production experience in Go, Rust, TypeScript/Node.js, C++, or similar.Remote
