About Paradromics
Paradromics is building a high bandwidth brain-machine interface for clinical use. The implant reads neural data in real time and can be used to generate speech via machine learning. The role focuses on developing and hardening embedded Linux components that interface with FPGAs and our custom ASICs. Responsibilities include HIL testing on real devices, integrating sensor ASICs, maintaining the Yocto build system, working with prototypes, improving clinical UX, and refining the core data processing code. Code is primarily Rust with some TypeScript, Bash, and BitBake recipes. Requires experience building reliable software in Linux and some experience with embedded hardware. Rust experience is ideal but not required. Onsite in Austin, TX or Oakland, CA.
