Job Description

Root Managed Services is hiring a Network Engineer to handle day-to-day NOC operations, client infrastructure support, alert triage, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems stay online. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into network issues, server alerts, firewalls, tickets, documentation, and the operational details that keep businesses running. The position involves working with small and growing businesses to maintain reliable IT operations across networking, servers, workstations, monitoring, ticketing, backups, security, and client communications. Responsibilities include helping to improve the NOC process, responding to issues quickly, and building better operational workflows as the company grows. Stack/Tools include: Windows Server, Linux, firewalls, switches, VPNs, RMM tools, ticketing systems, monitoring/alerting, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, TCP/IP.
