Job Description

We are hiring an MTS to help define and build our open-source compilation and simulation stack: compilation, simulation, error mitigation, resource estimation, benchmarking, and early fault-tolerant workflows. You will join a small technical team doing research through sponsored collaborations with national labs, universities, and industry partners. The role is about technical ownership — forming a technical point of view, proposing roadmaps, and building tools that become useful shared infrastructure. There is also room to experiment thoughtfully with AI-assisted research workflows. Requirements include a track record of building software used by others (ideally open source), strong background in quantum computing (fault tolerance, error correction, compilation, simulation), and strong Python; C++/Rust is a plus. A PhD is optional.
