Job Description

Senior Software Engineer role within Empower Pharmacy’s black-box-architecture team building event-driven distributed systems for a regulated pharma business. You’ll own design and delivery of critical services, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to system reliability and observability at scale. The stack includes Java/Spring Boot, React/Next.js, Azure (Service Bus, Kubernetes), and SQL Server. Expect heavy collaboration across teams and a focus on correctness in a regulated environment. We follow an AI-assisted development approach (Copilot/LLMs). Interview Day will be conducted virtually in a single day for advancing candidates, including practical discussions, system design, and coding.
